How to Apply


Electronic Application Deadlines:
For December interview: November 15, 2008
Final Application Deadline: March 1, 2009


Complete the Electronic Application

Applicants to credential programs can apply by Electronic Application through the UCSB Graduate Division. The Graduate Division receives the following:
(1) Electronic Application and
(2) $70.00 Application Fee Payment

  1. To begin the electronic application process: Go to https://www.graddiv.ucsb.edu/eapp/

  2. Scroll to the end of the page and “begin a new application.” Write down your username and password for future reference and to review your application materials after you apply.

  3. Your “major” is in the Teacher Education Program.

  4. Indicate your application is for summer 2009.

  5. Select either the Teaching Credential or Teaching Credential with the Master’s Degree in Education

  6. Email Account: Use an account that you check frequently. Your LOGIN/PASSWORD are necessary for future reference.

  7. If you have problems with the application, refer to the online application preparation guide or email the Graduate Division at appATgraddiv.ucsb.edu

  8. There is a $70 application fee payable by Visa and MasterCard, check, or International Money Order. For credit card payment, please follow the directions at the end of the electronic application. Make your check or money order payable to “UC Regents.” Write your name and date of birth on the check and mail to: Graduate Admissions, Graduate Division, University of California, Santa Barbara, CA 93106-2070.

  9. Refer to the advising handbooks linked to the Credential Office homepage for each credential program for complete application information.
